St. Patric Cathederal*

I have gone to the Catholic Church on Sunday since I was 8 years old. I couldn't go church thesedays because I dind't have enough time to go mass and couldn't find the church. I didn;t want to go to korean chatholic church because I wnat to read mass in English and with americans. Anyway, I go to St. Patric Cathederal every Sunday since last week. ^^ The reason why I go there is that I could find there easily since St. Patric Cathederal is the most popular church in US. Moreover that place is near my apartment which I'll live in after SOPIS. St. Patric Cathederal was amazing. As its fame, St. Patric Cathederal is so beautiful. I was so glad to go there but I couldn't understand what a priest said though I went mass for about 15years. However I believe I can understand words the priest says and become reading mass well...^^;;

MOMA*

In today's speaking class, we went to the MOMA together and saw the great exhibition, Richard Serra sculpture: 40 years. He is one of the greatest artists and he is popular for the bending steel sculpture. Richard Serra's sculptures were different from the sculptures which I saw before. The general sculpture is the thing just show other people. However Richard's artworks make the visitors experience through going into the sculpture. I was shocked because I realized how my ideas were fixed. It was great experience to expand my horizons. ^^

Seaport*

I stayed in dorm until afternoon doing the homework and taking a rest. However I really really wanted to go out and go somewhere because it was so boring and felt heavy. Then, my roommate Jaiyeon suggested to go Seaport near the dorm and go arround and have dinner. Therefore we asked some people who was in the dorm and went out together. Though I have heard about Seaport many times, it was the first time to go there. Since I couldn't imagine that there is the place such like the seaport near the dorm, I was very surprised. That place was fabulous.^^* I did window shopping, had great dinner and exposed myself to the wind at that place. It was very very great time. ☆

Skateboarder*

In our design class, We went to Lower East Side togerther to interview people in there. Our team choose the interview target, skateboarders. ^^...At first, we were worried that we couldn't find many skateboarders because we should interview at least 5 people. However, fortunately we found 5 skateboarders easily and interviewed them successfully. ^^ Because the skateborders were so nice, we could get lots of great sources about skateborders and LES. ^^~ I was so happy because I felt like that I became to get useful experiences and great informations. ^^*

Sweet*

I went to one chocolate cafe in the union square. I knew that cafe restaurant through my friend's reccomendation. I love to eat something sweet especially waffel wiht chocolate syrup. I was very happy because there was that menu, Waffel with banana and chocolate syrup. ^^...* Moreover that was so so sSooooo~~~ sweet!!!! I was sorry that we didn't have enough time so we had to leave though we didn't finish to eat...ToT...;;;... kk ^^ I and my friends already planned to go there again.
Actually I become happy whenever I eat something to sweet such as chocolates, ice cream and candies. Therefore I'm very happy to find the method to make me happy. ^^*

with Stephanie*

I met my friend Stephanie who came the States from South Korea to travel in a month. We met in Time Square and we went to the Hardrock Cafe to have lunch. To me, it's the first time to go there so I did so expect to go there. Beacause that restaurant is so popular to people we could see a lot of people in there and the dishes were so great^^! After having lunch, we visited lots of popular places in time square. I was so excited because I finally went M&M building. Actually I really really have long wanted to go there after I saw the picture that my sister took in that store several years ago. ^^. That place was sSooo~~~~~ COOL!!! ^^...kk"
We went MOMA and we said goodbye in front of the MOMA. Just My friend went inside MOMA to see the exhibition because I had a plan to go there in my SOPIS speaking class.
Anyway, I was very happy to meet my friend Stephanie in New York!... not in South Korea. ^^*
I'm not worried about her because she had born abroad and she grew up in Singapore. So she speaks english as well as a native speaker. I just hope that her trip to west side of US also great. ^^*

GROUP WORK*

In design class, we did a group work, making a map of Lower East Side. Though we didn't have lots of time to make it, but it was very interested and I like our map. I think it is worth enough to make it together and through this project we can learn and experience to cooporate with a group. In design world there are lots of team project. I think it's very good to me to prepare it. ^^ I'm so expected to do our next project. ^^

SHREK the third*

I went to the theater in timesquare with my roommates today and watched the movie, "Shrek the third". It was fun though I couldn't understand the whole story...kk -o-;;;. However I think the first one is the best among the three Shrek series. Anyway no matter how the movie was, it was very good time to us because it was the first time to go out and spend long time together. At first we were unfamiliar with each other, but now I'm so happy to become intimate with each other.
